To do a systematic review, you need to follow a set of transparently reported, reproducible processes. If you conduct a systematic review for an organisation that commissions or sponsors reviews, such as Cochrane, you will need to follow their guidelines and standards. Some journals may also have particular requirements so it is advised that you check the ‘for authors’ section of their website if you are aiming to publish somewhre particular.
