Visit our Medicine Subject pages on the Library Services website, where you will find a variety of Library online tutorials and guides, including basic and advanced database searching , referencing and more - to support various stages of the systematic review process.
If you have any questions, please email the Medicine Librarian team at lib-med-liaison@imperial.ac.uk
For more in-depth support needs, book a one hour appointment with a Medicine Subject Librarian via our Tutorials, Guides and Skills page. Please read the guidance provided to understand of what aspects of reviews we are able to advise on before booking an appointment - our expertise lies in search and general review methodology, and we are unable to provide support on data extraction, synthesis and quality assessment.
Doing a systematic review is an interesting and rewarding experience but we know it can also be challenging, confusing and often lonely too.
So find your review community and get involved in our Systematic Reviews Community of Practice.
We have created a Microsoft Teams group where questions, experiences and best practice can be posted and answers and feedback supplied by other reviewers, peers (both staff and students) and members of the Medicine Librarian team. If you are struggling with any aspect of your review you will find lots of support and feel far less alone.
Is this guide missing important information or do we need to go into more detail about a particular aspect of a review?
