The Create Bibliography function allows you to generate a reference list in your chosen output style which can be pasted into your document.
When using this option you will need to add in-text citations manually.
Create Bibliography works best for author/date styles such as Harvard, or for generating short reference lists.
If you are using a numerical style (e.g. Vancouver) you will need to re-order the references to match your in-text citations.
Use RefWorks Citation Manager to create both in-text citations and reference lists.
- Select the references you want to include in the reference list. If you do notr make a selection, all the references in the current view will be selected
- In RefWorks select Create Bibliography - Create Bibliography
- Select your style from the drop-down menu
- The reference list will be generated, formatted in your chosen style
- Select Copy to clipboard and paste the references into your document
