Getting Started With the Library for NHS Staff

Quick overviews on key library services for NHS staff

Visit us

As a member of the Library, you will receive a card that will give you access to all of our libraries. You will have a designated home library where any books you request will be sent by default, and an assigned NHS Support Librarian who will be responsible for supporting you. However, you are free to visit and use any of our libraries, and you will be offered support from the whole team where necessary – everyone is happy to help.

When you visit us in person, you will benefit from more services, resources and spaces. You can expect:

  • Access to our book collections, which you can help us develop with your suggestions
  • PC access, including printing, scanning and photocopying
  • WiFi and charging points for your own devices
  • Table space and soft furnishings to help you meet with colleagues, work and rest
  • Bookable rooms and study pods for collaborative working and online meetings
  • Assistance from our help desks

The library is on the 2nd floor of the Reynolds Building. More details about the library including opening hours are available on our website.
