The EndNote and Mendeley plugins in Word do not work well together, so you might experience problems if you have both installed. The most common error message seen is 'Cannot edit range' when trying to insert a citation from EndNote into a Word document.
To stop this, disable the Mendeley plugin by following these steps:
You will need to do this every time you open a document in Word. Alternatively, remove Mendeley.
Open your working library in its new location on your computer.
If the CWYW plug-in is not visible, follow these steps:
If this does not work, you may need to manually add the CWYW plug-in. For further help follow the links below
If you are asked to log in after clicking on 'Insert Citation' in Word and searching for a reference on your own device (particularly on a Mac), Word is linking to EndNote Online rather than the desktop version.
If you have EndNote Click installed in your browser but it does not pop up, you may have to clear the cache in your browser or deactivate the pop-up blockers on your browser.
