Ovid databases

Most of imperials medical databases are run by ovid. This libguide will show you how to search them.

Save searches and create alerts

Below your search strategy, you have a number of choices if you want to use your search strategy again in future.

If you click on Save or Create Auto-Alert you will be taken to a page where you can name your search and add comments about it. If you are saving your search we recommend that you include the name of the database in the search e.g. PsycINFO Draft 1. This is so you know which of the Ovid databases to open it in next time. If you are creating an auto-alert you can choose how often to receive the alert and if you want to get it via email or RSS.
